Get your vanilla beans on Amazon. They don’t need to be super high grade or pretty since you’re just extracting the flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 750-ml bottle of 80 proof vodka, in a glass bottle
  • 12 extract grade vanilla beans

Instructions

  1. Remove 1/2 cup vodka, to make room for beans.
  2. Cut each vanilla bean into 1 1/2-inch pieces and add to the bottle.
  3. Give it a shake.
  4. Let age for 3-6 months, shaking at least weekly.
