Soda Pop Cake
This cake will stand the test of time and is the perfect crowd-pleasing cake. You can use any flavor you want if you just match the soda to the Jell-O flavor. (Did you know that’s how you spell Jell-O!?) I have ALWAYS made strawberry. This cake is stored in the refrigerator so it is the perfect summer’s day treat.

Soda Pop Cake
A light and creamy summer cake.

Ingredients
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- 1 small box strawberry Jell-O
- 1 cup strawberry pop
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 medium tub Cool Whip
- 1 small box vanilla pudding
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Bake cake as directed.
- When cake is done, poke holes all over with large fork or chopsticks.
- Dissolve Jell-O into hot water and pour all over cake.
- Pour pop over cake.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Mix pudding and milk until thickened.
- Fold in Cool Whip and spread evenly over cake.
- Chill before serving.
