It feels like you’re making breakfast for a child, but this is the only way to eat over-easy or sunny-side-up eggs, in my opinion. The blend of the yolk with the crispy toast and the saltiness of the butter. Yes ma’am.

A fun way to cook up breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 eggs
  • Shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. With a large spoon, press down the middle sections of each slice of bread to form a crater for the egg to sit.
  3. Crack the eggs and add one egg to each slice of bread.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the crust. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 10-11 minutes until egg is done and cheese is browned.
